Liberia 2026
iHRT is expanding its work globally through an initiative in Liberia focused on strengthening mental health infrastructure and supporting healing from historical and racial trauma.
As part of this effort, Gary and Brittney Wardlaw have been invited to participate in Phase I of the Liberia National Mental Health Infrastructure Pilot in Monrovia. This initiative brings together national leaders, ministries, universities, and community stakeholders to build sustainable, culturally responsive mental health systems.
This work includes:
Supporting the development of mental health knowledge hubs
Partnering with government agencies, universities, and community leaders

Expanding access to trauma-informed, culturally competent care
